Hello, my name is Tristen and I am a Clinical Psychologist running my own private practice in West Perth. I have been fortunate enough to have over 19 years experience providing psychological support and treatment to adults presenting with a range of mental health issues and psychiatric diagnoses. After graduating from six years of university training including a Master of Psychology (Clinical) at Edith Cowan University, I completed the two year Clinical Psychology Registrar program, gaining generalist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) with endorsement in Clinical Psychology.

I have worked in both the public and private sectors, gaining extensive experience in delivering effective interventions to adults from all walks of life, including various backgrounds, ethnicity, cultures and religions. I enjoy working with a diverse group of people and am also LGBTQ+ friendly. I believe my strength is my easy-going and genuinely approachable nature which allows me to build strong and trusting relationships with my clients, providing the essential foundation to effective therapy.

Over the past ten years I have worked hard building my own private practice. I continue to work collaboratively with medical and other allied health professionals that are part of a client’s treatment team, believing that a holistic approach to treatment gains the best outcomes for my clients.

I am a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), Australian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (AACBT) and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi). I am also an Approved Network Counsellor for Cancer Council WA.
